Lending Guidelines and Renewal Information
All persons who reside or own property within Huerfano County shall be issued a New Patron Card that is associated with a 90 day probationary period with the checkout limitations listed below.
Colorado Residents residing outside of Huerfano County, qualify for a Non-Resident card that has the checkout limitations listed below.
New Patrons & Non-Residents:
You may check out a total of 5 items, and have up to 15 holds on your library card. You will be notified when your hold is available by email or phone.
After 90 days, New Patrons residing in Huerfano County will have their status changed to Resident Patron type, with extended borrowing privileges, granted that there are no lost items on their account.
Residents:
You may check out a total of 30 items, and have up to 40 holds on your library card. You will be notified when your hold is available by email or phone.
CO State Parks Backpack – Limited to 4 TOTAL checkouts per calendar year
The library reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who abuses equipment, is repeatedly late in returning CO State Parks Backpack, or returns the CO State Park Backpack in the book drops.
